The service

Hakawi is an AI tutor that helps students work through Arabic-language material. It is in early access, is provided on an invite basis, and may change as we improve it.

Accounts

A parent or guardian creates the family account and each child's account, and is responsible for the family's use of Hakawi and for keeping logins and PINs private. You must give accurate information. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or that put other users at risk.

AI-generated content

Hakawi's translations, explanations, quizzes, and feedback are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Hakawi is a study aid, not a substitute for a teacher, school, or qualified religious scholar. For anything important, especially religious rulings, check with a qualified person.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload, such as photos of textbook pages. You give us permission to process it as needed to run Hakawi for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only upload material you are allowed to use for study.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Hakawi. That includes trying to break or overload it, accessing accounts that aren't yours, scraping it, or using it to harass others or to produce harmful content.

Our content

Hakawi's software, design, branding, and written content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use the service.

No warranty and limits of liability

Hakawi is provided "as is" during early access, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
